SETTING THE SCENE
‘Wow’ – it was the real ‘wow’ effect that first hit me as we entered the new SunSky Villa Hua Hin. The modern white lobby greeted me with its minimal decoration, while the white blank space of this roomy hallway and the generous size of the living area do have an impact of setting free.
SunSky Villa Hua Hin features four posh en suite accommodation rooms which could cater 14 to 18 guests at a time. The top floor is reserved for the main room with its gigantic bed and sofa set. A sleek Jacuzzi is placed on the wooden balcony, overlooking the sea, while the stylish and roomy bathroom lies behind.
The next room is the duplex on the second floor. Opposite this duplex lies the third en suite accommodation room which is the smallest one in this empire but the comfortable and luxurious one. Then I was escorted to the secret fourth accommodation room with full amenities and comfortable beds for six. All bathrooms are operated by electricity – you just stand there and the washlet toilet opens itself for you.
Due to the delectable food around the Hua Hin area, the villa provides no F&B outlet but has prepared the amenity in the fully-equipped pantry and kitchen. Otherwise, you could buy ingredients in and leave the rest to the villa staff, or tell them what you fancy for your meal and they can sort it out for you; A BBQ on the beach at dusk is included.
WHY I’D RETURN
I really don’t know – why wouldn’t I? Apart from its luxury accommodation rooms, the public spaces are equally great. The living room has a cutting-edge entertainment system for karaoke or playing games. We also had a blast in the swimming pools and the sauna. The beach in front of SunSky Villa Hua Hin is also at ease. The long stretch in a tranquil setting made a pleasant moment for the eyes and the mind.
