Rome is probably the most cinematic city in the world, full of dramatic backdrops, dripping with atmosphere, adream location for almost any kind of story. All set against the splendour of a city steeped in history. 

Famously, Rome is built on seven hills, and the city was illuminated in a phenomenal post-war period by sevenoutstanding film-makers: Roberto Rossellini, Vittorio De Sica, Luchino Visconti, Federico Fellini, Michelangelo Antonioni, Pier Paulo Pasolini and Bernardo Bertolucci.
