Since “home is where the heart is”, it is hard not to leave your heart at Nishaville Resort & Spa, a home sweet home for escapists. Cosy tranquillity in warm sun, white sand, blue sky, and green forest, is a life schedule here to recharge everyone’s energy.
SETTING THE SCENE
Nishaville Resort is located on the tranquil Wanakorn beachfront in Huay Yang village, Prachuab Khirikhan province. Edged by Wanakorn National Park on one side and Samuttharam temple on the other side, the resort is pristine with fewer crowds and less pollution. The Huay Yang fisherman village also lays only five to 10 minutes away.
Walking in the resort area, the sea, a coconut field, to an organic garden will be found and special staffers of cows and buffaloes in their open-air office waiting to welcome you with natural cuteness near the garden.
All rooms have a glimpse of a Mediterranean style of lively colours such as yellow and orange, which make the tranquillity seem not so lonely. Inside, every room is decorated with a touch of local signature, like its famous coconut which has ‘do not disturb’ or ‘good night’ carved on its shell.
This cosy and warm nest comes with the European-style kitchen which is well prepared and ready to cook in. Several books are also available on small shelves in each villa with lovely cooperation from guests who finished their books during a stay and decided to share them with others by piling up the reading lists.
Visiting Huai Yang Fisherman village is a to-do activity for early birds. A hotel staff member can arrange a car and be your guide to the daily life of locals. Popular marine produce like prawns, several kinds of crabs and shells, horseshoe crabs, and octopus are pulled off nets which you are welcome to watch and learn to do yourself.
For a more relaxing option, Spa One is a must on the list. It settles in a stand-alone bungalow surrounded by grass fields and coconut trees. The Thai massage was great and was even better with a strangely scenic view inside since of the green grass field and the light blue sea.
The authentic Thai taste from the experienced chef was splendid at the Seabreeze restaurant where a combination of fresh seafood, aromatic spices and creamy coconut milk is one of the highlights, while international dishes are delicately cooked and served in the nearby Verandah Restaurant.
Flavourful pizzas and pastas are popular choices yet desserts such as mango mousse with Thai-style mango sheet are also worth to try. For light bites and drinks, the Beach Lounge on the beachfront is a perfect place to chill out.
WHY I’D RETURN
The feeling of home but miles away from home was a very good feeling. The home-like design of the villas is effective and helped reduce my stress. A little distance from the city made the stars shine brighter, and the moment I laid down on a beach bench watching them was among my most favourite times there.
