Sitting in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site, the State Garden Show flaunts its vivid artistry on the amorous Rhine riverbank. After bursting vibrance for years, as its 10th anniversary, from 12 – 14 October, the State Garden Show will come with the special event ‘Binger herzlichT’ special event, displaying spectacular light installations, lasers, fireworks, and street theatres. Plus, many more events are yet to come such as ‘Rhine in Flames’, the Bingen International Jazz Festival, and wine tasting.


Have you ever wondered who your real life favorite Disney icons are? Get to know the cartoonists behind adorable Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and other characters at ‘Walt Disney – Mickey, Donald & Friends’, Mainz State Museum, from 14 March – 29 July. The joyful exhibition features compelling stories of Masters Floyd Gottfredson (Mickey Mouse), Al Taliaferro (Donald Duck), and Carl Barks (Scrooge McDuck, Gyro Gearloose, and more) and over 300 exhibits including the rare ‘The Adventures of Mickey Mouse’ (1931) book. In the state of Hesse, there is another relaxing and creatively inspiring State Garden Show in bewitching Bad Schwaldbach from 28 April – 7 October, under the theme of ‘Experience nature. Live naturally’.
