Cali-Mex Bar & Grill is the new American-Mexican restaurant originating in Hong Kong. After successfully opening 20 outlets in Hong Kong, Cali-Mex is expanding to Bangkok and ambitiously aims to key 20 outlets within 3 years. The owner upholds principals of quality ingredients and great value-for-money, customers are assured to be getting the fresh, sustainably farmed food product in each delicious dish.
Unlike the ‘usual’ procedures of starting a restaurant, Cali-Mex started with sourcing quality ingredients all over the world, and building a state-of-the-art central kitchen to experiment with ingredients. All of the ingredients used are carefully handpicked by the founders, sourced from all over the world– Angus beef, free-range chicken breast fillets and pork shoulder from Australia, cheese from San Francisco, sustainable seafood from Vietnam and avocados from Mexico. Their final step was to launch Taqueria – there are now branches all over Hong Kong.
The Bar & Grill menu features all of the dishes from the Taqueria menu – signature dishes including burritos, quesadillas and tacos. Many dishes featured in both Cali-Mex Taqueria and Bar & Grill are gluten-free, there are also many options for vegetarians and vegans.
Cali-Mex Bar & Grill also features an expanded menu. Starters like the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Chilli Con Carne, Sizzling Garlic Chilli Prawnsare not to be missed. The expanded menu also includes Grilled Chicken Parmigiana, which uses free-range from Australia, while the freshly beer battered Fish & Chips are made with sustainably farmed certified fish from Vietnam and amazing Prime Rib-Eye steaks grilled to perfection.
Cali-Mex Bar & Grill restaurants features a brand-new dining experience – think California-vibes design with diner booths seating – everything you need for a relaxed environment and good vibes. Bar & Grill is also the only restaurant in Hong Kong to have beer taps at each table, custom-made and flown in from Canada.
